That Tigers' got a Jiggle when It Wiggles.

There's always that one place that sticks out in your mind when you think of going out. A place of fond memories, or most of the time, a lack of memory at all. A place where you may have once landed that belter that your mates high fived you for when she wasn't looking. Or where you and your mates may have enjoyed  a good viewing of a friend being cornered by one of the the bigger, less seen ladies in the club... Craig (cough).

For myself and my group of mates, that place is Tiger Tiger in Claremont. We almost grew up on its fine beverages, often masked with drunken orders of numerous tequila shots at 2 in the morning. Usually finding a ourselves face down on its wooden bar counters, more than once a week, our loyalty began. Our group of regulars started small, but quickly swelled. Meeting more regulars every week we went. Soon our normal Tiger night was just one huge jam with a hell of a lot of your friends. I think that’s how Tiger was though, that special thing set it aside from most clubs. Its patrons were regulars, that just kept coming back. We were those people who abused many of the early free drinks nights before most even heard about them.
We were that generation that remember the Saturday night as the old peoples night.

All of us have experienced the tactical chunder, and most of us have experienced the plain old, I'm fucked, chunder. Some of us have urinated on friends cars during car bar.. Sorry Craig... hope the aircon doesn't smell of pee anymore..

It's amazing, but still, years later, the love for that place we think of as a second home continues. And as time has gone by, I think we have grown with the club. Abit. No longer seeing those Saturday nights purely as a lame 'old persons' night, we often land up there drunkenly after some silly rematches, and fucking the Bus. No, not Christine...Free drinks are more dangerous than ever, when they happen, and the peloton is a thing know by most of the bartenders, and many of the other regulars. More on the peloton another time though.. For now I leave you with this... Let's put on our party shoes, head down to Tiger this weekend, and GET FESTIVE!!!
